Projects2k, in partnership with The Town of Branford, premiered BRANFORD LUMINATA on Columbus Day weekend 2009 celebrating the rich history of Branford and its relationship to the industry and natural resources of the state of Connecticut. The program was presented with a light and sound spectacle projected onto the historical Branford City Hall and filled the Branford Green with magical light effects. The performance on the Branford Green drew over 1,000 viewers from across Connecticut the Northeast during their holiday weekend.
The BRANFRORD LUMINATA event series presented a variety of Branford's heritage which included: little known facts about the early inhabitants, natural phenomenon, local luminaries and characters, industries, and more that continues to evolve Branford's rich profile. Projects2k looks forward to continuing partnerships with The Town of Branford, local businesses and organizations to make BRANFORD LUMINATA an annual event.
