Walking On Water

An architectural installation with Richard Schalk AIA for the Al Unser Jr. Residence, Albuquerque, NM

Light reveals stalactite and stalagmite features as though they are emerging from the center of the earth.  The work creates a fantasy environment for relaxation.

The spa is installed into a frozen waterfall of glass and gem minerals. It is a reminder of the beauty that is often hidden under the surface of the earth and sea. The floor is structural and can be walked on.
